These wonderfully warm Malva fingerless mitts are knitted with 2-ply pure wool, which is ideally suited to stranded knitting. The fine grains pattern and small purled edging lend an extra textural detail. I added embroidery to give a special festive and a individually “handmade” feel.

Shown here: Teksrena knitting yarn, 100% Wool, 383 yards (350 meters) / 100 grams: red – 1/3 skeins, pink – 1/4 skeins, tea rose – 1/4 skeins, orange, limette, rose and yellow – small amounts of each color.

Needle size: US 1½ – 2.5 mm

Gauge: 36 stitches and 38 rows = 4″ in stranded

To fit an adult, 4“ (10 – 10,5 cm) – size M/L wide, 10.6“ (19 cm) long.
