The Zimushka mitten pattern is symmetrical for each hand. The two given sizes are achieved by working the same pattern at different gauges.

To comfortably fit a woman´s medium to large hand with worsted weight wool yarn. For small hand used DK/8 ply.

● The mittens are worked from written instruction or from a combination of charted and written instructions.
● The patterns instructions include a detailed step-by-step photo tutorial for Thumb gusset.

Yarn suggested:  for Size M/L – Aran / 10 ply. Shown here: Garnstudio Drops Lima, 65% Wool, 35% Alpaca, 98 yards (90 meters) /50 grams (1.76 ounces) –  2 skeins.

For small size – DK/8 ply. Shown here: Garnstudio DROPS Karisma Superwash, 100% Wool, 109 yards (100 meters) / 50 grams – 2 skeins.
